Additional driver
Having an additional driver (or drivers) for your van rental car can massively ease the pressure on your main driver, making your house move or long drive a lot more enjoyable. Also, if you need to drive a long journey to move or transport bulky items, not needing to stop for as many breaks means you will reach your destination safely and twice as fast.
Rental van excess insurance
Depending on your needs, Europcar proposes different van rental insurance packages, from reduced excess to no excess at all. The following plans are available in Austria:
Basic Protection This basic level of insurance is mandatory and already included in rental rates in the Austria. This will protect you against theft or attempted theft of vehicle and damage caused by collision with deductible.
Medium Protection This protection package includes the benefits of the basic protection package and halves the deductible.
Premium Car Rental Protection In addition to protection against theft or attempted theft of vehicle and damage caused by collision wit no deductible, this protection package also covers damage to the windscreen, mirrors, headlights and tires as well as personal injury to the driver and passengers.
Full tank option*
Finding or making it to the gas station after a long trip in a van can be a hassle, so Europcar gives you the option to pre-purchase a full tank of fuel at a reduced rate per litre when you return the vehicle empty. It allows you to pay for the gas up front, so you don't have to repay us later. Ultimately, the full tank option gives you more minutes of precious road time.
